Genuine - the feeling only real wood gives
Kahrs
Linnea is a genuine wood floor with all the properties that
only real wood can give. It's naturally beautiful and very
comfortable underfoot. The practical difference between
Linnea and a standard wood floor is that it's only 7 mm
thick.
Kahrs Linnea is a 'veneered' floor and is constructed of
three separate layers:
1. A wear surface of genuine hardwood veneer (the part you
see and walk on).
2. A hard core section made of HDF, a wood fibre sheeting.
3. A wood veneer bottom layer which makes the board extremely
dimensionally stable.
The hardwood wearing surface is thin, so that the hard core
section is able to absorb the knocks and blows of everyday
life. This protects the surface from becoming jagged or
uneven.

No matter what
surface treatment you choose (lacquered or oiled) you get
a floor with high wear resistance that's very easy to clean.

Construction
1). The finish. Four to six
layers of Kahrs UV cured acrylic lacquer or UV oil is factory
applied and the floor is ready to be walked on as soon as
the floor is laid.
2). The top layer. Veneer layer of real hardwood.
No wood imitation made of plastic can replace the sense
and character of wood. The thin veneer layer means that
the intermediate layer of HDF can absorb many day-to-day
knocks
and impacts.
3). The support layer. Middle layer of High Density

Fiberboard
(HDF). This makes Linnea more durable and dent-resistant
than most other thin floors. Woodloc milling is an added
benefit when choosing a Linnea floor.
4). The base layer. Bottom layer of
natural wood veneer allows the floor to remain stable and
perform flawlessly in a variety of climates and environments.
5). The Woodloc joint. The revolutionary joint system, making
