days gone by Oak was the traditional material used for flooring
and furniture making because of its excellent properties for
good stability, its enduring beauty and its hardwearing nature.
In those days, Oak flooring would be cut from the tree with
a pit saw and the boards left to dry for a few months or laid
directly to joists. The main floorboards were cut near the center
of the tree and contained the heartwood, shakes, knots and all
the character displayed by this wonderful timber.
Our range of solid Oak flooring will re-create that ageless
look and give years if not centuries of wear to come.
It's not hard to imagine a wood floor as the foundation of your

of finishes or unfinished ready for sanding and sealing on site,
is precision machined to the finest tolerances and is produced
from quality seasoned and kiln dried timber carefully sourced
from sustainable forests.

Oak Flooring Unfinished
Direct
from the mill our unfinished oak flooring will require
sanding and sealing after fitting. Square edged timber,
tongue and grooved on all four sides (end matched).
