Our unfinished Oak floors are tongue
and grooved and end matched and machined to exacting tolerances,
square edged and planed to a very smooth finish, these
floors will require a light sanding after fitting and
finishing with a lacquer or oil dependent on your taste.
Our unfinished hardwood
floors are suitable for fixing by secret nailing to a
timber floor or joist or by modern gluing methods using
a
flexible hardwood floor adhesive.
Available
in many different widths these boards are supplied in
random lengths, you will receive a mixture of lengths
when ordering these floors and the boards should be laid
randomly to create that authentic original Oak planked
floor look.

Select
Grade or Classic Grade Oak
Selected for its fine figure & consistency of
colour. It displays light grain markings and may
contain isolated or clusters of small live pin knots
and a very small amount of lighter, creamy coloured
timber. A truly classic floor.
Character
Grade or Natural Grade Oak
Carefully selected for those who prefer more variation
and features than shown in the select grade but
without the boldness of a Rustic Grade. This grade
contains a scattering of sound knots, an odd small
dark knot and a small colour variation between boards.
A vibrant, rich and colourful floor.
