| Prime grade often referred to as select or classic grade is the highest quality grading in timber, displays light grain markings, slight colour variations and very few and infrequent solid knots. |

| Natural grade is the middle grade of timber and shows more character than prime grade but less than the rustic grade, can display some infrequent knots, some colour variations and some mineral streaking and grain pattern. |

| Rustic grade also known as character or natural grade is more rugged and shows more character than prime grade, can display heavy grain markings and figuring, wider colour variations and frequent knots. A vibrant colourful floor with character and excitement. |

| Note: It is common for unfinished floors to contain holes within knots and some small shakes, these will require filling with a suitable wood filler prior to finishing. |
