| Our solid Maple flooring is tongue and grooved and end matched and machined to exacting tolerances. Our unfinished floors are supplied square edged and planed to a smooth finish. Unfinished floors should be sanded prior to finishing. Prefinished floors are supplied with a bevelled edge. Available in many different widths these boards are supplied in random lengths, you will receive a mixture of lengths when ordering these floors and the boards should be laid in a random pattern. |

| Beaver or First grade is the highest quality grading in maple, very light coloured and very consistant in colour shows little grain markings. |
|
|
|
| Prime grade often referred to as select or classic grader, displays light grain markings, slight colour variations and very few and infrequent solid knots. |
|
|
| Natural grade can be thought of as a mix of prime and rustic grade, tends not to have many knots however and much less colour variation than rustic. |
|
|
| Rustic grade is more rugged and shows more character than prime grade, can display heavy grain markings and figuring, wider colour variations and frequent knots. A vibrant colourful floor with character and excitement. |
|
|
| Factory grade read as rustic gade. |
|
| Note: It is common for unfinished floors to contain holes within knots and some small shakes, these will require filling with a suitable wood filler prior to finishing. |
